I <3 chocolate cake

Chocolate cake 1

Every time Laura, over at Yummy Laura, posts a new recipe on her blog I instantly become instantly. especially, when it is something sweet. Today was the day to actually try one of her recipes instead of always drooling in front of the Computer.

I picked the 6 Minutes Chocolate cake, not expecting much. Somehow, I wasn’t very convinced by making a cake in the microwave but I didn’t have the ingredients for the more fancy things and it was absolutely pouring with rain (I’m sure you know those days). The result was AMAZING! The best part is that it took me (literally) 10 minutes between pulling the first bowl out of a drawer and turning the finished cake out of the tin. Not even Brownies or Biscuits are that fast.

Next I will be a little more adventurous and try the Pear Lime Tarte. If you do have some time, go have a look at her blog. She is currently telling her story of how she moved from Canada to France, as well as posting here awesome recipes, and I love reading it. Oh, and make that cake.

  2. Oh I love Laura's recipes too! The cake looks divine. I've made her chocolate banana muffins a couple of times and they are so fantastic that they have me wanting to not eat my bananas and allowing them to get over-ripe on purpose, so that I can make the muffins.

    1. I have tried that but they somehow always get eaten before I get there... Maybe I should hide some bananas next time. I just have to make sure I remember them on time.
