I hadn't realised how much I missed the sun until I saw it peeking through the clouds today. Against all expectations, we ended up with a gorgeous sunny day and lots of blue skies. I decided to take the opportunity and used my lunch break for a quick trip to Hyde Park. I found myself an empty bench facing the sun and happily knitted away for half an hour.
I feel like a flower that has been kept inside for too long, that bit of warmth and light gave me more energy than I had for a long time. I hope it will last. :)
And just to make the day perfect, I suddenly realised that there were lots of crocuses flowering all over the park, like these lovelies. I can't wait for spring.
