A pocket library

I have always dreamt of having my own library. A room just dedicated to reading? Yes please! I think I have just taken a large step away from this but all things considered, it's better this way. Meet my new kindle touch!

I was going to wait until after I finish my exams to order one but I often have an hour or two in the evening and reading seemed like a good way to fill it. Since then, I have discovered the Kindle popular classics. So many books I always wanted to read, for free!I think I might have to make the Mister guardian of the device, just in case. Must not fail exams because I'm reading.

  1. I got a Sony Reader for Christmas and these things are really genius! I love just being able to fit it into any small purse and its not hard on the eyes and its so lightweight and I can switch between books easily.

    1. I know. As soon as I have a little time, I'll make myself a cover and then I will start always taking it with me.

  2. I LOVE ereaders. I know they're bad because books are awesome, but it's SO great to be able to have so many books in a tiny little object!

    1. Exactly. I tried to imagine how big the pile would be, if I were actually carrying those books.

  3. Isn't it pure love? I took my baby with me for reading at the s bahn/train/car/rock... Like this weekend, a climbing trip to franken jura, less weight, enough books or texts. I also use this for preparing a lecture or an exam.
I can recommend you Project Gutenberg, a lot of more books and well formatted, amazon classics aren't..

    1. Thanks! :) preparing for exams might not go too well, considering I also have all my nice books with me. I think I'd just get distracted.

Oh, you are climbing? Have fun! I'm jealous.

  4. I was reluctant to give up my hard copy of books and move to my iPad for reading. But I have recently given in, and I love it! So cool to have so much to read at our fingertips. Plus it makes my bedside much more tidy without all those books on the floor! My husband was always bugging me about them scattered in a pile!

I hope your exams go well!

    1. I know. I'm really short on storage space and even though it pains me, I had to give in. If its a choice between reading on the e-reader and not reading at all, I know what I chose ;)

  5. I've got a cheap e-reader made in China, I can't tell you hoe much I love it! I usually read 3-4 books at a time and used to have to carry them all with me. Never know what you'd feel like reading on the go. My bag is a lot lighter these days.

    1. That's the danger though. I love rereading my favorite books. I think I might have to set myself a quota of new books per month :D

  6. Ich kann mir vorstellen dass das Ding immens praktisch ist - aber es ist halt kein Buch und es ist auch keine Bibliothek ...

Jetzt musst du nur noch "Dont’t Panik" draufsteciln
