Finally getting cozy.

After Centi just finished her wall quilt, I felt like I should go and finish a project too and, lo and behold, I finally managed to complete the the cozy! It's perfect for the weather that seems to be getting colder and greyer by the day. I admitt to having tripled my tea consumption lately but it's november so that is definitely allowed.

I quilted my tea cozy in a somewhat irregular fashion but I really like the result. Do you ever get that, when something works in your mind and then it works even better after you try it? It makes for happy moments.

Stripy stripes

Yesterday, I was going to sit down and sew but the sun drew me outside so I stitched things together by hand instead. Much slower but also much more relaxing.

7 things

Seven things I used my hands for today

I made myself a nice breakfast ( and enjoyed the peace and quiet while nobody was up),

measured the dimensions of my teapot
and designed it a cozy to keep it warm. ( I dislike cold tea. Funny, isn't it?)
I finally finished off that skirt,
took out too many screws
and then enjoyed barricading Squeak in the bathroom

before making an attempt at conquering greece. Successful day.
