It's a corner!

Slowly, very very slowly, my quilt is beginning to take shape. Look, the top right corner is finished! I admittedly don't work on it very often so progress could be faster but hey, better a little progress than none at all.

I used to listen to the audiobook of "A short history of nearly everything" by Bill Bryson while working on it but now it's finished and since I'm lacking inspiration with regards to what I want to listen to next, progress has come to a complete standstill.

Any suggestions for a podcast or audiobook that I absolutely HAVE to listen to?

7 things

As every week, seven things I used my hands for today.

I collected some branches,

lit a candle

and combined them into a christmas decoration.

 I also went shopping,

did some work

and worked on my new project. (More on that soon)

Then there was also the mystery project, which isn't to be revelaed quite yet but it involved cutting lots of paper, as you can see here.

Quilting panic!

Aaaaaah! I finally managed to finish the patchwork on my first quilt and now I'm so scared, I don't dare actually quilting it. What if it goes wrong? So much time went into already. And I don't just want to follow the seams because the design is so simple, I want something more fancy. At this rate I will never finish this project. It has already spent two years in a corner and I was so proud I took it up again.

Right, deep breath. I will manage this. Just need a little advice and I'm sure my favorite sewing community will have some, as ever. Girls, I need you.
